SAD, AAP and Congress – which one will occupy the CM’s Chair in Punjab

Come Elections – each political party becomes active and stakes its claim over coming into power.  The Punjab’s Assembly elections are due in the second month of next year.  There are three main contestant – Shiromani Akali Dal in alliance with Bhartiya Janata Party led by Sukhbir Singh Badal, presently Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party Suchha Singh Chotepur, State Convener but recognized with Arvind Kejriwar, Party Convener and Chief Minister, Delhi Government and Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee headed by Capt Amarinder Singh.

SAD, AAP and Congress – which one will occupy the CM’s Chair in Punjab

Everyone is guessing as to who will occupy the Chair of Chief Minister? At this stage, when there is lot of controversies going on and the leaders are busy in analyzing the feedback, drafting manifestos besides planning long term strategies, it would be difficult to pin point as to which party will prove its work to hold the post of Chief Ministers.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) who is in alliance of BJP and in power for two terms has lot of pluses and minuses. BJP despite sworn alliance is still keeping its original cards downside and speaking opening about contesting the elections jointly.  Sidhu couple – Novjot Singh and Kaur – both have openly saying that they will not campaign for BJP.  Similarly, in the Akali Dal, the things are not going so smoothly with lot of controversies like holding the key posts to the close family members, drug issue, employees not satisfied with the policies the government and so on.  This time, the employees are likely to play a key role in making the image of the public about the ruling government.
So far as Aam Aadmi Party is concerned, the leaders are workers are solely dependent upon Arvind Kejriwal Supremo of the party, who too is entangled in one or the other issue. Since his concept of his ideology is very clear to provide neat and clean, corruption free administration, he is least bothered about the charges being leveled on him one after the other.  Recently, the establishing of Naresh Yadav’s links by the Punjab Police with the prime accused of sacrilege incident and his photo appearing with dress of Nihang Sikh on the front page of a magazine.  Whatever may be outcome, AAP is unquestionably posted a big threat to the other two major political parties in the state.
Regarding Congress party, it is an admitted fact that inside the Congress wall, is not fine atmosphere.  The old timer Congress leaders are out from the active politics of the party and Congress is solely dependent on Capt Amarinder Singh.  Loyalty from the core of heart in Congress is not seen and Jagmeet Brar is the glaring example who is bent upon damaging the image of the party.  It will a challenging task for Captain and his team, to prove their strength in the coming Assembly elections.
Frankly speaking, the people of Punjab are fed up from the existing government and want a very clean and real digital government with accountability, which could provide the services to the public just with the click of the mouse.
A section of people also says that like previous years, SAD will play a religions card, Congress will come up with new strategy while that AAP may gain by virtue of rejection of both for which he has already dialed 100 out of 117 Assembly seats in Punjab instead of claiming its win over all the seats.

Still there is sufficient time to change the wind directions, till then wait and watch which way the wind is blowing!
