Will Badal And Amarinder Play Their Last Political Innings ?

Both are ignoring AAP in the battle of ‘Chair’

Will Badal And Amarinder Play Their Last Political Innings ?
It is always the voters who decide as to who will form the government in the coming Assembly elections due in Punjab in 2017 but it almost looks to be certain that both Badal and Amarinder will play their last political turn.  Will they?
Congress party sitting in the opposition for the last two terms in Punjab, is up in arms to bring Capt Amarinder Singh to bring him back in power for which they are making all out efforts by organizing seminars, rallies, nukkad meetings, yatras and what not.
No doubt, there is a loss to Parkash Singh Badal by suspending the Sangat Darshan in his own constituency but he had direct interactions with the farmers by touring the villages to gain sympathy by discussing on their basic problems.    In fact, senior Badal in chair for the last decade, wants to end his last term as Chief Minister and despite his ill-health, he is visiting the rural areas to be in touch with the voters by laying foundation stones, organizing Sangat Darshan – major among them the road net work.
In the past, Punjab Government has to bear the loss on account of sacrilege incidents in the state, murder of RSS and Shjv Sena leaders, drugs, sand mafia, cable TV mafia etc.  The Congress Party has adopted to stand against the Badal government with one or the other issue – wheat scam, drugs or post-matric scholarship.
Badal government tried its best to pass on the responsibility of sacrilege cases, Satluj-Yamuna Link on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) but all those arrested in disrespect cases were identified as pathi or sewadar of Gurdawaras and the government was in a very awkward position.  In fact, Akali, BJP and Congress are fighting with each other to grab the power and in this situation; bother Akali-BJP and Congress have ignored the AAP as if it has no existence in Punjab despite giving its four MPs at the centre.
The factual position is that AAP with its slow speed even have tried to reach to the voters at the ground level.  Hearsay of  the ‘flying birds’ that sitting leisurely at home by Badal and Amarinder may not become reality and AAP may keep hold of the chair silently.
Frankly speaking, both Congress and Akali-BJP are making all possible efforts to win the coming elections, taking it as a last ‘election battle’, by attracting the voters with their impressive and sentimental statements.  Badal has even said to this extent that if he is voted to power, he will get another ten years of life to serve the Punjab.  But it is certain, in case the Badal wins this election, he will not be in a position to contest for the next election because of age factor.  That is why, he has also said that nation is of youths and they should be given a chance to come forward.  Even Capt started many fronts in his campaign, with the association of youths like Coffee with Captain, Halqe Vich Captain, Congress Express Vans. Not only this, he is giving alluring statements to win the hearts of farmers.  But, ignoring of AAP in such circumstances could prove fatal to both the big political parties
